Corneal Lenses
A beloved classic
With the rapid development of soft and scleral lenses, corneal lenses have taken a back seat. But there are still many people who prefer corneal contact lenses.
Some find them easier to insert than scleral lenses. Others are accustomed to them simply because they have been wearing corneal lenses for many, many years. And last but not least, they are a fantastic option for astigmatism or keratoconus.
Multilens offers the entire RoseK2 assortment which is specially developed for keratoconus!
One of the world's most fitted contact lenses for keratoconus
RoseK2
The RoseK2 assortment was designed specifically for patients with keratoconus. The concept is the work of New Zealander Paul Rose who, since the 1960s, has devoted his time to creating the best designs for keratoconus patients.
The majority of the range consists of corneal designs but there is also a soft and a corneo-scleral design.

Corneal contact lenses for specific needs
Progressive Contact Lenses
Multilens has several corneal options for presbyopes. The Reclaim lens has a central distance zone and a peripheral near zone and is fitted with a fairly large lens movement. The lens is pushed upwards by the lower eyelid when looking down. That way the peripheral reading zone lines up with the pupil. We also offer the Menicon range where there are several progressive designs and many different customisation options.
Night Lenses | Orto-K
At Multilens, we work with Menicon Z Night, which is worn at night to flatten the curvature of the cornea and thus correct visual defects. Visual defects are already largely corrected after the first night and stable visus is achieved after a few weeks.
